Every source is health-checked each cycle. Stale feeds lose weight automatically — data older than 7 days is halved, 30+ days is dropped — and a source that stops reporting is flagged in our watchdog and excluded from the blend, which reweights around whatever is fresh.
The Tunisian Variety Index relies solely on direct field relationships with mills, brokers and officials. Public ONH data is used only as an internal alignment check and is never blended into published figures.
When a price can't be verified from a fresh source, we show "Data Pending" or "—" rather than a stale or modelled figure. We would rather show you nothing than a number we can't stand behind.
